Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Labour Relations Specialist who will be responsible for providing expert advice on various labour and legal matters related to HR. This role ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations while supporting business expansion.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager (People Management), the main responsibilities include:
1. Interpret and apply complex labour laws to company policies and procedures, primarily in Spain but also internationally.
2. Advise and guide senior management and HR teams on labour law matters.
3. Represent the company in litigation on an occasional basis (attending and preparing legal proceedings, SMAC, etc.).
4. Prepare for labour inspections and internal/external audits.
5. Act as the company’s representative in negotiations with trade unions and works councils, managing collective bargaining agreements and establishing communication protocols to foster optimal labour relations.
6. Provide legal advice on social security, labour taxation, and payroll matters.
7. Analyse and monitor assigned projects.
8. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with current legal requirements.
9. Review and update policies within the Renewables business unit to ensure legal compliance in all countries where Enertis Applus operates.
10. Prevent and manage labour disputes.
11. Conduct regulatory analysis of labour and tax matters in the countries where the business unit operates and in potential new markets.
What are we looking for?
Requirements & Skills:
1. Degree in Law or Labour Relations (mandatory).
2. Registered with the Bar Association (mandatory).
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the HR legal field, including attending and preparing labour disputes (mandatory).
4. Prepared to represent the company in court.
5. Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law and general understanding of international regulations.
6. Solid expertise in Spanish social security regulations and collective bargaining negotiations.
7. High level of English proficiency.
