Our Consultancy area specializes in the technical assessment of renewable energy projects. We work for the entities that finance the projects, or for the investment funds that buy or sell them.

We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our fast-growing and diverse UK Consultancy team.

Among the main functions, the selected person will have the following responsibilities:

• Producing solar resource studies and performing energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst and other modelling software
• Analysing and opining on renewable energy project level documentation such as interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and environmental reviews
• Verifying and opining on electrical designs of renewable energy projects
• Being able to evaluate or understand production data provided by clients and assisting with analysing said data
• Performing reviews and opining of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects
• Managing deadlines and Client expectations
• Being proactive and ensuring the highest level of quality assurance and quality control of own work
• Visiting Project sites

What do we need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or similar technical degrees, MBA positively valued
• Passion for renewable energy and 1-3 years of photovoltaic design and/or consultancy experience
• Understanding of solar electrical design and/or Wind
• Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical and commercial information and translate that into appropriate opinions or assessments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications
• A strong personal commitment to continuous improvement and a team player
• Some knowledge of government regulatory requirements to solar development and operation
• Fluent in English or Spanish
