At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer  to join our Engineering team in Italy.

🛠️ What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform conceptual and permitting-level electrical engineering design of solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
• Verify and comment on electrical designs and/or construction of solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
• Analyze and comment on renewable energy project level documentation, including:
  • Interconnection agreements.
  • Grid connection process documentation
  • Perform reviews and comment on electrical equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.
  • Continuous evaluation of process improvement for design documentation produced.
• Manage internal/external deadlines and expectations as required.
• Ensure the highest level of quality assurance and quality control of own work.
• Other tasks as directed.

🎯 What are we looking for?

• 3+-year experience in electrical project design, grid connection project design (basic and definitive level, detailed design is a plus) for thermal or renewable energy plant.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Italian Grid Code and key national and international standards applicable to MV and HV power plants (Grid Code, CEI norms, IEC norms, etc).
• Knowledge of key design principles for utility-scale PV and BESS projects, including equipment and cable sizing considerations.
• Experience with typical design software such as AutoCAD, PVCase, or Civil3D.
• Operational autonomy, team working attitude, capability to communicate with both technical and non-technical profiles and clients.
• Italian mother tongue/proficient, good English (B1 minimum). Spanish is a plus.
• Being Italian chartered engineer title (Ingegnere Iscritto all’Albo) with capability to sign design documents and reports is a plus.
• Experience with electrical design software such as Magic, AutoCAD Electric, DigSilent, PowerFactory is a plus.
