At Applus+ Renewables we are looking for a Site Quality Manager to join the project team, working closely with Operational and Support teams, and reporting to the Applus+ Quality Manager. Your mission will be to ensure that all onsite operations and associated services comply with Client, Manufacturer and Applus+ quality management and quality control requirements.
🛠️ What will you do?
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Ensure full compliance with the Project Quality Management System in line with contractual, client, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Site Quality Inspection Plan.
• Supervise project documentation and records in accordance with the Applus+ Document Management System (DMS).
• Monitor and assess EPC contractor quality activities to ensure consistent application of project standards and specifications.
• Conduct on-site inspections and witness testing activities when required.
• Prepare, update, and maintain all project quality documentation and records.
• Perform supplier and contractor audits, issuing accurate and timely reports.
• Analyse QA/QC performance metrics and present findings in project review forums.
• Lead QA/QC investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate and support audits or reviews of Balance of Plant (BoP) scopes, when applicable.
• Track and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring complete documentation, traceability, and closure.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with project stakeholders at all levels.
📍 Location
This is a site-based position, with occasional travel to supplier facilities depending on project requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the energy sector (renewables highly valued).
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proven experience in quality control for industrial installation or construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable:
• Lead/Internal Auditor certification.
• Training in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
